This is an automatic, dedicated programmed flash for a Canon T50,T70,T90 Camera. It has a film speed selector for ISO 100 or 400 film. When the flash is charged (indicated by an "s" in the camera viewfinder) slightly depress the shutter button and the programmed infrared flash element fires a low intensity beam. The light received from the infrared pre-flash is detected by a sensor and the unit is programmed to automatically set the lens aperture to f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6 depending on the flash to subject distance.
