Vintage 1990 kick freestyle snowboard Damian 165. Scuffs and scratches here and there.
The ‘Kick’ was Damian Sanders’ pro model on Avalanche, designed by his brother Chris. Damian left his mark on snowboarding both, on and off the hill. Don’t be fooled by the neon clothes, headbands and pink hard boots; he was a charger.
Avalanche was started by Chris Sanders (Damian’s brother) in 1982. This board had more media coverage than any other models they produced, and Damian was the reason for it. From ballsy cliffs to laid out backflips to sending it in the pipe…he could do it all, with style. If you haven’t seen the movie “Snowboarders in Exile” by Fall Line Films (1990), do yourself a favor.
