This is a round casserole dish made by W.H Grindley & Co. This is the Shrewsbury pattern made in England.
This casserole dish is an off-white with gold gild on the lid handle and sides of the dish. There is an ornate design around the rim of both lid and top portion of the dish.
This piece is in good vintage condition. There is a single chip on the lid, hairline fracture on top of lid, as well as noticeable wear on all handles due to use. The bottom inside of the dish has blisters from the manufacturer at time of production. Please review all photos carefully to make your purchasing decision.
