STERLING SILVER BOOK DESIGN VICTORIAN LOCKET 18” CHAIN 8/24/25

This is a silver book locket necklace, indicated by its book-shaped locket and the "925" marking, which signifies sterling silver. Why it is on the front I really don’t know Book lockets often open to hold small items, such as miniature photos of loved ones, similar to traditional lockets. This particular locket features an ornate or antiqued design on its cover. Lockets including book-shaped ones, were popular during eras like the Victorian period, often used to keep mementos close. From an estate sale and other than the stamp on the front it is in fabulous condition. Could use a polishing.
