When cleaned up I have seen these sell for $1,000 - $2,000 or more! Super collectible, patriotic, high quality. I included a screen shot of one very well restored selling for 3500. Needs a little love but bones are strong and parts are all serviceable.

This is the special Bicentennial paint in white, with stars and stripes details. The white, like most of the Schwinn white, is very weak. The paint has chips and mars, and some scratches, that show the clay colored primer underneath. Several decals are also scratches and partly missing. Not perfect paint. Very shiny parts, rather weak paint.
