20 Space Shuttle postal covers (envelopes). Includes the Project Mercury stamp on first day of issue February 20, 1962. Other dates range from May 21, 1981 to Apr 7, 1983. Most postmarked in 1983 with various stamp issues.
Six of the envelopes have items on reverse, such as return address.
All postmarks either Cape Canaveral, FL or Kennedy Space Center FL.
Some yellowing due to age.
One includes what looks like a note "Space Walk" written in. Four others have items attached, like a cutout. I don't know who made these additions. The entire set was given to my mother back in the 1980s by a collector. At one time, she worked at the Johnson Space Center in the communications dept.
Plastic hanging cover measures approx. 39" L x 14" W.
