Here’s a Dutch Boy Paint hand puppet that was given away in the 1950s or 1960s as a promotional item The puppet has a cloth body and a cute rubber face. This piece does show some signs of use and wear, but it is complete and intact. The colors and features on the doll face are quite nice. The cloth outfit shows some wear but is intact for the most part. This would be a great piece for the advertising collector, painter, or doll collector!
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS:
- 11” tall x 7 ¾” across, from the end of one arm to the other
- Body of blue outfit is about 5 ½” wide
CONDITION:
- Rubber face is quite nice, with a few minor marks and rub areas on the hat and face
- Colors are bright
- Cloth outfit has a few missing stitches and minor flaws, but overall intact
- A few tiny stains on the cloth body near one sleeve
- Dutch Boy printing is very readable
- I see no repairs
- Used vintage condition age-appropriate wear
