This creamer features the iconic Desert Rose pattern, known for its subtly painted pink desert roses and green leaves against a sand-colored background. The handle is uniquely sculpted in the form of a twisted vine, a distinctive design element of the pattern. The Desert Rose pattern was first introduced in 1941 and gained significant popularity, even being chosen for use in the White House by Jacqueline Kennedy. While originally produced in California, later versions were made in England and China after Franciscan Ceramics was sold to Josiah Wedgwood and Sons Ltd. in 1984.
