Absolutely beautiful creamy ivory fancy dress from Nilani, circa 1980s. It's a modest, midi, above mid-calf, nearly ankle-length dress.
The fabric has a shiny embossed pattern all over. Bodice is lined, and bloused, and has tiny square buttons on the back. Bodice joins to wide hip yoke and skirt below is pleated and flared. Skirt has additional back zipper on the yoke. Has shoulder pads.
There's a square platter collar at front that continues over the shoulder as flaps on the back. Collar has a sheer mesh layer with embroidery in pink and green. It's just lovely! Would make a demure wedding dress for a themed wedding.. an Easter Sunday church dress.. or a fancy every day work dress.
