Antique Victorian 1879 mother of pearl button stud set
Classic mid-Victorian round button stud set, featuring clear faceted glass crystals in the center of the mother of pearl face
Yellow gold plated over brass
Removable clasps at back (pinch tabs at side to release clasps)
Button studs functioned similarly to cufflinks and were worn by both men and women throughout the Victorian era
***Missing one post but clasp still stays securely. Mother of pearl chipped around glass in one button. Light patina/ discoloration, mostly on backs.
Partially worn patent stamp (looks like "PAT NOV 11 1879)
