This Friendship Quilt was handmade in the 1920s by Hazel Hagenbuck, with embroidered signatures from members of the Nebraska Methodist Church Ladies Aid Society in Wahoo, Nebraska. Each quilt block features a hand-embroidered member’s name along with an appliqué floral design, making it a true piece of American textile history. Size: 76” x 86”. Signature blocks, floral appliqué, hand embroidery, hand quilting. Documented to Nebraska Methodist Ladies Aid Society. Some light discoloration on the backside consistent with age, overall beautiful condition for its era.
