This is a fantastic, rare vintage Egyptian porcelain pill or trinket or misc box. This little box, altho broken, is really a neat little treasure. The metal has deteriorated, but the porcelain and the hand-painted cultural hieroglyphics are in marvelous condition. It wouldn't be too difficult to restore this great box, or, if broken, the porcelain pieces would make great craft or art supplies.
