Words cannot describe the sheer quaintness of this little set! I’m not positive, but I’m fairly sure this is from the 1800’s !!!
No mark, but guessing from the design I think this is a KT&K Semi Vitreous Porcelain Sugar Bowl & Teapot !
These pieces were in someone’s family, imagine sitting at the table w/ grandma while she spills “THE T” after she pours the tea
The delicate designs alone, are breathtaking.
What I find interesting is that the teapot is sort of on the smaller side and the sugar bowl is fairly large in comparison.
With any antique/vintage items comes the possibility of added character in the way of cracks/chips. No chips on this, but I do see some hairline cracks, but we all know, those just add character.
Lastly, the precious little note that was inside of the teapot, is what convinced me to buy this dainty set. “Great grandma Stewart, (Grandma Greenhalgh’s mother)”
