Unusual hexagonal shaped vintage wooden jewelry box by Reuge. Made in Italy during the 1960s or early 1970s. **Piece plays Edelweiss, but ONLY after carefully tinkering with the inner mechanism (the cover for this piece is not glued into place). Swiss musical movement. Red velvet inner lining. The outside of the box features a beautiful bouquet of flowers in muted colors. Working brass hinge. Although the music box itself has issues, it looks like it can be replaced. The box itself is in good condition with normal wear from age and use. Please refer to all photos. Previously owned.
