You do need a power supply, I belive a beefy (100w+) 12v barrel jack laptop charger works, but any ATX power supply will also work

This is a CUSTOM power cable I had to make by hand, because I couldn't get ahold of a PCI 6 pin to 6 pin adapter, it is NOT soldered, and is DEFINITELY held together by electrical tape, it has never caused me any problems, but use at your own risk!
