A beautiful bicolor Mangano Vesuvianite from the Jeffrey Mine in the Asbestos Quarry, Estrie, Quebec, Canada. Beautiful purple to green crystals with good color saturation and high luster. This locality is now closed and specimens are becoming increasingly harder to acquire and prices steadily rising. The specimens found here are unique to the world with a distinctive look all their own. The majority of Vesuvianite specimens are dull in color with green being by far the most dominant color. This deeper magenta purple color is much more rare and desirable to collectors.
