I find this thing incredible, back then they gave real gold(gold filled) medals for proficiency in bookkeeping . Today everyone gets a medal made of garbage metal, the trophies are plastic, why bother...lol. the engraving on the back is hand done and so interesting to look at. I've also never heard of east New York reference. I was gonna put this in the gold refining scrap pile, or my treasure box.. but thought I'd offer it first see if anyone else likes it. It's the size of a half dollar.
