An extremely rare Terminated Black Rainbow Moonstone Sunstone from Tanzania. This material is graded on the color, intensity and how well defined the lines of Schiller are running through the specimen. Low quality material has a dull flash, poorly defined lines and just yellow and orange in the flash of schiller. This piece has a broad color spectrum displaying all the colors of the rainbow as it is moved around relative to a light source. The lines are well defined and have an intense flash of color. Plus the other more skinny face displays the cross section of the rainbow lines giving the appearance of pin fire sparkles. It also has a silver gray flash akin to Moonstone in addition to the rainbow lines. So on the skinny side you can see a silvery grey adularescence mixed in with pinfire sparkles! This would make some incredible cabochons.
These are hard to find on the market especially in this high of quality.
