Truth be told, I'm not sure what is going on with this doll. It came from an estate sale where the lady was a professional doll maker, not just a hobbyist, so I assume she pieced this doll together.
Notice, though, that the arms appear to be attached by string around the neck, the hips have cotton protruding from them, the torso appears shaped like a kidney, and so on.
Nevertheless, the back of the neck clearly says, KAIS INC. 1986, so that is why I rescued him from the estate sale.
He measures about 20 inches from head to toe.
I'm hesitant to say, but I could find no visible chips or cracks (hopefully I didn't miss any)! Lots of stains on the cloth body. Dirty marks, light scuffs, and leftover dust on the porcelain areas.
