This mixed-media art cross is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. Using collage and assemblage, I created this piece as part of my new series "Always Our Savior." This wooden cross, number 1 in the series, would be the perfect accent for your door or as wall decor.
A Mardi Gras king cake baby figurine, representing Jesus Christ, is the focal point of this wooden cross.
Measures approximately 7 inches by 9 inches
Accented with vintage papers, fabric, junk mail and atlas map pieces, sheet music, metallic threads, fibers, wire, beads, buttons, charms, sequins, a hand-sewn puffy fabric heart
The puffy heart is filled with dryer lint.
